If you’re referring to the title, it’s a quote from the movie Apocalypse Now, which is set in Viet Nam during the war. The “thousand yard stare” the dog has goes well with the flashback effect someone did with the video. That subject is serious, but cupcakes trump seriousness.

i think i saw the second picture in a history book today and it was in a section about the bombs dropping in hiroshima and nagasaki and the picture’s caption said something about children fleeing from a burning school… all i know is that the picture in the book had two children in the front, one had a white shirt and shorts and the other was naked and they were both running and crying. just like the second picture in the clip

I had to check the comments to see if anyone else wondered what kind of “training” they were using on this dog. Its expression made me feel more sick than did the “flashbacks.”

I actually just saw this on Animal Planet today, and I remembered that clip from this site! This is actually an episode of It’s Me or The Dog, and the dog (his name is Stains; how cute!) was having issues with jumping up to eat human food off the counters. Victoria (the lady holding the cupcakes) was just conditioning him to stay away from human food. I think of the look more like “Want Want Want!!!” more than “Oh, the Horror!” but I can see both. So hysterical! XD
