LoL ever seen the lol pic of the stag humping the german shepard? The cat is probably a female in heat.. when most mammals smell that another mammal is in heat, most of the males will hump whatever it is.. same species or not. and that is how the japanese created Cabbits (ryo-ohki)
Yeah, when I saw this, I knew the cat accepted it. The tail was off to the side. This indicates that a female cat in heat is ready to breed.
But I didn’t know that species will hump anything, if the female is on heat. Huh… .-.

Rabbits also hump other rabbits/animals for dominance, and even female rabbits do it. Spaying/neutering cuts down on some of the hormonal aggression/sexual pleasure that leads to humping, but if you introduce new rabbits (or other animals), it can still happen.
The problem I have with the original video is that cats are hunters and rabbits are prey animals. Cats can and will kill rabbits, even if raised together. There’s also the fact that rabbits are notoriously susceptible to infection – any cut or bite inflicted by the cat that breaks the skin can have serious repercussions for the health of the rabbit. Look up rabbit abscesses on Google, it’s not pretty. I consider these pet owners pretty irresponsible.
Having said that, I’m glad that the rabbit pwns the cat, at least it’s learned to defend itself. Rabbits can be brave when necessary and I like this bunny’s moxie.
