Yeah, he really kicked that dog didn’t he? Notice how it flinches in pain as that almighty kick break several of his ribs. Seriously, he pretty much nudged the dog with his foot and you oversensitive people are caught up calling the owner an animal abuser. Also, a German Sheppard of that size is very very far from defenseless. That being said, if he had actually kicked it with intent of causing harm it still wouldn’t be okay.
The whole point of the key nudging the dog with his foot is because the dog is chewing on a shovel. From past experience, it’s a really bad idea to take something out of a dog’s mouth if they’re chewing on it. It makes them pretty likely to bite you, so a little nudge with your foot is the best approach to removing a shovel from the face-hole of your dog.
