actually now that i think about it, any band would work, since you’re painting multiple faces on your face, not painting your face to match their facepaint
I have painted my face many times, just not as multiple people
the effect he produces is neat, the band just sucks, and to be honest he could have used any other band and could still get the same giffiness effect

Gene Simmons tried to sue King Diamond because he used facepaint. Gene apparently felt he had invented using facepaint. Gene also tried to sue Dio for claiming he introduced the Corna to the metal community. Gene claimed it came from his hand sort of resembling the gesture on one of their album covers. Dio explained that it is the defense against the curse of the evil eye, and that his Gypsy Grandmother had taught it to him.
