Keep your eye on the ball

RIP Ted Stevens
A Rube Goldberg Workflow! At last — a realistic model! (The music should have been by The Tubes, though…)
Reminds me of the DS game “Mechanic Master”.
If the internet is a series of Tubes….that would mean…that Mario rules the internet!
Seen it before.
lol just seeing invader zim in the vid made my day . . . and I obviously have no life.
omg im gonna watch it again i didn’t see that, but i saw legend of Zelda twilight princess’ cover art on it tho lol
I’m not sure if this is in Good taste or not.
I mean he just DIED. This is what he’s known for…
(That and yelling about the bridge to nowhere)
still I think we shouldn’t bring it up.
This is great when you post this several times.
This reminds me of an old Commodore 64 game I have somewhere.
hmmm.. this is not a very efficient series of tubes >.> just along the top edge, there’s at least 7 places where a ball has to appear from outside the system =/ or is that showing how information comes from all parts of the world..?? and somehow they go through different parts of the tube…??? gyaaaah
all those balls that come from “the top” come from the bottom, where they fell down.. just imagine that this gif is taped onto a ball or whatever so that it really is a closed system.
everything that gets out on the right side accordingly comes out at the left side again.
btw, I spend ’bout an hour to find the start… but don’t waste your time like I did – it has none ;D
I tried to track one single ball @_@
i think half my brain cells died trying to track one ball
If I’m not mistaken, this was a product of the Something Awful forums.
They were tasked with making a square that was a specific size, where the ball entered and left at specific points along the edge (which is why the balls seem to “appear” from the top), so that it could be arranged in any way and it would still look right.
For example, if you look at the left side of the picture, where the ball falls out of the bottom is lined up with where it falls into the top.
*addendum/correction-
The submitted squares could be arranged in any way, and still have a cohesive (albeit mind-blowing) picture
as you see on https://ayra.ch/other/perpetual/ this super awesome GIF is a closed system.
Too soon?
Whatev. Corrupt old geezer.
Goodbye, Mr. Stevens. We hardly knew ya.
WRONG! The internet is made of cats.
Everyone knows that.

Mousetrap: Zakdorn addition
