I’m kind of confused too. I think he meant at first he thought it was a rat that got killed by the trap but instead it was a mouse pumping iron.
OR
When the metal bar went down it looked like it was going to kill the rat but he pushed it back up.

hahahaha… i think the mouse/rat got killed and the video taped it…. cut the part out where the trap went down… and then the camera crew put the clip forward and then reverse making it seem like pushups….. or it was a weak trap…. iono

The ‘I got nervous’ header makes far more sense in the context of the video, there is time to be nervous. The gif is moderately amusing, nowhere near as good as the full video though.
