I like how the older man/woman just walks over calmly and goes to help the kid out. No freaking out, no ‘omg!’ moment that most people get when they think their kid has been merely scratched. Now that is a good parent! One who doesn’t freak out and seems to quietly say, “Learned your lesson now?” I’m sure the kid is fine.

I have to say I find this gif and others like it where children (small ones here, people!) hurt because they get unexpectely hit by something NOT FUNNY, NOT EPIC, NOT EVEN REMOTELY NOTABLE OR ADMIRABLE IN ANY WAY. Okay, the one where the kid tobagganed under a car was pretty good but ONLY BECAUSE WE SAW HIM LAUGHING after and knew he was okay. And the one with the little girls running away from the other little kid with the little ride-em toy was cute because you know that even if they got hit they’re not going to get hurt. But seriously this particular GIF SUCKS. This is not flawless victory or falcon kick or anything.

I know, I hate videos of kids getting hurt. On failblog there is one of a girl riding a bike, hitting a curb and falling. I think videos, gifs and pics of people getting hurt are only funny when they are teenagers or adults doing stupid things, that is, people who are old enough that they should have known better.

Well, we don’t really know that this kid was hurt, now do we? We don’t really see him react to the kick beyond toppling like a bowling pin. The person beside him isn’t in too big a hurry to check on the kid and seems to think that he or she is OK. No normal person really wants to see a defenseless child obviously being injured. The reason so many of us find this funny is because, from the calm reaction of the other person, it doesn’t seem like the kid was really hurt.
Maybe it’s just me but I find reading comments from people saying they hate something they’ve just seen on the internet incredibly sexy.
I was caned by a kangaroo in exactly the same way when I was ten. It didn’t hurt, it was more like a really strong push. I totally derserved it, kangaroos don’t want you all up in their faces.

Kids fall, get hit with objects around the house and they are fine afterwards u_u do you honestly think this will hurt the kid? its like getting pushed away by someone a little bit weaker than you, of course its fine!
