Beethoven was dead, but he was not deaf his whole life, he went deaf near the end of his life. It affected him greatly, but he got past it by putting the piano on the floor when he composed, so he could Feel it.
Composers, also, can hear the music in their head, then write it down, thats what composing it. Performers need to beable to hear the music inorder to make sure their instrument is in tune, in the first place, and that their intronation is correct.

Actually, Beethoven showed great talent as a child. His father was a drunk and abusive one, and would come home with his friends and tell little Ludwig to play a song. When he got something wrong, his father would slap him in both ears, really hard. This caused him to loose hearing in both ears. By cutting the legs of his piano short and sitting on the ground, he could practically feel the music he was playing by feeling the vibrations. I think that it made him a bitter old man, as shown by the movie about him. While he may not have been completely deaf his whole life, his hearing was greatly impaired for most, if not all, of his musical career.

That was Beethoven, he was not deaf his entire life, and it was caused by a disease, not by a dumbass with a noisy device believing she’s just too funny.
I do understand that you just can’t see the difference and feel empathy towards her, anyway. You seem to be just as clever as she is.
A) as below, that was Beethoven.
B) Beethoven went deaf towards the end of his career as a composer.
C) Beethoven was able to continue to compose by sawing the legs off a piano then laying on it naked so he could feel the vibrations. That is not something a performer can do on stage.

Not a very funny one. Don’t f**k with people when they are sleeping, it can end very badly. Even if this is a fake, the results are pretty accurate, many people (myself included) can and will turn violent if woken suddenly, especially if sleep walking or during other sleeping disorders.

There is some question about the reason for Beethoven’s eventual deafness. One theory is that is was a result of being beaten about the head by his father for not practicing enough (or properly) or being reluctant to show off his piano skills to his father’s friends (sometimes having been forced to get out of bed in the wee hours of the morning to play for his father and father’s friends after they had been at the pub).
Tough childhood + talent = madness.
