Totally bizarre.
Definitely thrown together with the mismatched uniforms and sets, but I’m such a nerd for noticing!

It’s from the mass privatisation of UK public utilities in the 1980s, when Maggie Thatcher sold off everything that wasn’t nailed down at rock-bottom prices. The popular phrase against it at the time was, “Now you can buy shares in something you already own.”
Definitely a mash up because I believe that is Stacey Travis that gets beamed up with the Captain & she would have been a lot younger when the original star trek was on.
