Considering the reaction speed of the spider, and that it speeds up at the exact same time as the cursor (plus that its legs bend in a weird way when it changes direction)… Well, it’s probably digital, but I still want my cursor to be that way!
It’s real. This is the true reaction speed of spiders. I know cus I kinda’ played with one myself when I was younger.

Nope, definitely a jumping spider. Same shape as one, wolf spiders are longer. These are very common spiders in Texas, at least.

That is a jumping spider.
They are nomadic hunters, not web-spinners. In other words, they chase down their prey and kill it the hard way. They are also some of the only insects or spiders with binocular vision, giving them highly accurate depth perception. their two primary eyes have fixed, forward facing lenses, but with a movable, conical shaped funnel leading down to the retina, allowing them to focus both eyes on the same point, like we would.
I realize there’s always going to be someone calling fake, but all I see is one of my favorite creatures doing its thing.

Granted the clarity of this GIF is not good enough to disprove you, but there are plenty of these little guys around my house during the warmer months and I’ve had a couple play on my screen just like that.

It’s a jumping spider for sure. They tend to follow things, I’ve had one in my room and it did the same with the cursor. So yeah. <:

Hypercam? it wouldn’t show the spider that is actually on the monitor.
This is one of the few times when you MUST point a camera at a screen to capture what is WALKING on the screen.
